One of Turkey's largest conglomerates Sabancı Holding and Turkish cement manufacturer Çimsa have agreed to establish a grey cement grinding plant in the USA with an investment of US$82m (TRY2.2bn). Fouta Cement Corp, the subsidiary of Fouta Corp, a trading company based in Liberia, is establishing a 0.396Mta grinding plant in Monrovia. Tanga Cement has said talks with the government regarding its new cement grinding plant in Arusha, Tanzania, are still in progress. Cem‘In’EU Group inaugurated its first modular grinding plant at Aliénor Ciments yesterday in Tonneins, 100km southeast of Bordeaux, France.
